Nik studies trees and fungi for a living and has a lot of things to say about "space junk." When not in the forest, he maintains an abode in NE Portland with his wife, teenage son, and schnoodle. In 2010, he launched a rather successful campaign to bring the word "capacious" back into common vernacular. His next big goal is to wear more green pants, more often.
